Flex EX System Programmer
This versatile, portable programming tool, allows a trained crane service technician to isolate and trouble shoot potential radio system problems at the end user’s facility or back at the shop. This tool can program a spare transmitter, or diagnose and/or setup a complete Enrange Flex EX radio control system. If a technician had this tester unit and spare replacement parts, they can service the radio system in a timely manner for their customer. This would improve customer service and support by servicing the customer at that moment, instead of sending the radio components back to the factory, and waiting several days for the components to return, and then travel back to the customer. This can also increase service revenues as well as saving time, and traveling expenses involved with servicing a customer. The damaged parts can be returned to Enrange for repair, without the costs of expediting or air shipments, because the customer is back up and running. This programmer will only be available to certified crane service companies that have been approved by Enrange, and completed Enrange system training.

Factory Installed Horn Kit for Enrange Flex EX series
Fits the following Flex EX models, 8EX, 8EX-T, 12EX, and 12EX-T
We now offer a horn / warning device option for the Flex EX systems. This is a small device that screws into the second cable entry for the Flex EX receivers (yellow and black style). The small warning device unit has “beep” tone to it. The beep is loud, approximately 96DB! Due to internal wiring changes, Enrange will install this option at the factory. Crane service companies will appreciate this because it is one more thing that they don’t have to worry about. This is typically ordered and added to a new system. Ordering information is below.

FIELD Installed Horn Kit for Enrange Flex EX series and other systems
Horn can be used with all Enrange radio receiver units.
Since the HKI-01 horn kit is factory installed on the Flex 8EX and 12EX receiver units, we have decided to offer a field installed unit for existing systems, and system that can’t fit the 0-HKI 01 horn kit. This horn is power by 120VAC and provides a 96DB warning output. The horn mounts to any control panel or 1/8” thick bracket with a 1-1/8” mounting hole. The overall diameter is approx. 1.5” and the horn is 1.8” long. Ordering information is below. This is typically ordered for existing systems in the field, radio receivers that need mounted inside a control panel, or for new system orders and the installer would like to install the horn himself.

Vinyl Transmitter Slipcover (included with system

Below is the re-ordering for the clear vinyl slip covers that are supplied with all new Flex EX systems. These are a disposable cover that offers protection from grease, paint, or dirt, but it doesn’t offer impact protection. These covers will not fit over the transmitter with a rubber boot installed. Protective Rubber Transmitter Boot
The protective rubber boot will fit the model Flex 8EX, 8EX-T, 12EX, and 12EX-T transmitters. The protective rubber boot will help protect the transmitter from wear and tear of everyday operation. The boot slides over the current Flex 8 or 12EX transmitter enclosure (similar to Fluke voltmeter boot) providing the extra protection in rough environments. Ordering information is below.

Padded Nylon Transmitter Case
An alternative to the rubber boot, and upgrade from the supplied clear vinyl covers is the padded nylon case cover. This cover has a protective padded shell as well as a clear vinyl button cover with a elastic strap for holding the unit tight. This cover is ideal for environments where grease, grime, paint or chemicals are present. The operator does have full access to the key switch and e-stop button. Please note with a slight modification (cutting a hole in the vinyl) for the selector switch these will also work with the Flex 8EX-T and 12EX-T tandem systems. Also for extra protection, we offer padded cases that slip over transmitters with the molded rubber boot installed. Ordering information is below.

Retractable Belt Clip / Transmitter Keeper
This is one those little “adders” that goes a long way. The belt offers a swivel belt mount clip for comfort and use, as well as a latching or automatic recoil cord. The cord also has a quick release connector for removing the transmitter without removing the belt clip. This way one operator can pass the transmitter on to another operator, without detaching the unit from their belt clip. The belt clip will also work on other Enrange models like the 300T transmitter. Ultimate Flex EX Transmitter Case Combo Packages
Since we have so many transmitter case options we decided to package our most popular cases into a package, so one part number will get you, a molded rubber transmitter boot, a padded case to slip over the transmitter with boot, and a retractable belt clip. Rechargeable Battery Option Flex 4EX/8EX/12EX
There is now a rechargeable battery kit with LED indicators for the Flex EX series transmitters. This option is available for the 4, 8, and 12 pushbutton transmitters. The benefit of this option is that there will be no need to remove the battery cover from the transmitter. The transmitter battery cover has a jack located in the cover where the charger plugs into the unit. Typical charging time: 1.5 ~ 2 hours. Standard charger uses 120VAC or 12VDC to power the unit. Operating time is ~ 80 hours of use. Ordering information is below.
